Maharashtra Day

EArtH Foundation celebrated Maharashtra Day on 1st May with great enthusiasm across its adopted schools in Maharashtra. The celebrations brought together students, teachers, and community members to honor the formation of the state while promoting patriotism and civic values.

As part of the program, floral tributes were offered to national leaders including Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the nation. Teachers highlighted the historical significance of Maharashtra Day and encouraged students to understand the ideals of equality, unity, leadership, and social responsibility.

Students actively participated in speeches, cultural performances, and educational activities that enhanced their confidence, communication skills, and awareness of India’s rich history and democratic values. The celebration fostered a strong sense of national pride, respect for great leaders, and community spirit among the children. Through such events, EArtH Foundation continues to promote values-based education and holistic personality development.

Summer Camp Activities in Adopted Maharashtra Schools

EArtH Foundation successfully organized Summer Camp Activities in its adopted schools across Maharashtra to provide children with meaningful learning experiences during the vacation period. The camps focused on the holistic development of students by combining educational, cultural, recreational, and personality development activities.

Children enthusiastically participated in yoga, meditation, karate, dance, drama, storytelling, cricket, carrom, ring games, brain games, and various indoor and outdoor team activities. These programs helped improve physical fitness, concentration, teamwork, leadership, communication, creativity, and self-confidence while creating a joyful and inclusive learning environment for both boys and girls.

Interactive sessions, cultural performances, food activities, and creative workshops encouraged social interaction and nurtured children’s talents. In addition, parents’ meetings and village-level discussions were organized to raise awareness about tailoring courses, study centers, and future educational opportunities within the community.

Considering the extreme summer temperatures in Maharashtra, EArtH Foundation also planned a Mobile Library Initiative to ensure children could continue reading and learning safely from their homes. Through these comprehensive summer camp activities, the Foundation made significant efforts to support the physical, mental, social, emotional, and academic development of children while strengthening community engagement and lifelong learning.
